Applications
When you set an application on an input or a custom switch from a TV's own tab, the settings screen can list the apps installed on that TV. Pick one from the list, or choose Other and type an id.
The list is available only on TVs that support it. The plugin asks the TV for its installed apps when it pairs, and each time Homebridge starts while the TV is on. Older TVs usually answer, so their apps are listed. Many newer TVs no longer support this request, so there is no list and you type the id yourself.
Global inputs and switches, added from the dashboard, apply to every TV, so there is no single TV to load the list from. For them you type the id.
If the app you want is not in the list, use the table below, the Samsung website, or Tizen Studio.
List with IDs
Over the years we managed to gather a list of IDs for most used applications.
Because the IDs change with each release we cannot guarantee that IDs from this list will work on your TV! If you can't find an application in the list or if the ID doesn't work, use the list in the plugin settings, or follow the steps from Get installed applications.
Multiple IDs for one application
Some applications have multiple IDs because they may differ depending on what year your TV was released and what version of Tizen is using. Most of the IDs changed starting with year 2020. If you know your TV model is from 2020 or newer then start and try the IDs from the right. If your TV is older than 2020 then try the IDs from the left.

View application IDs on Samsung website
You can view list of application on Samsung website. Right click on an app icon and click "Inspect Element". The <button> element has an attribute data-app-id containing the ID of selected application.
Enabling developer mode in Safari
To be able to use Inspect Element functionality in Safari, you should have developer mode enabled. Go to Safari Settings > Advanced > Check "Show features for web developers" checkbox.
Get installed applications
Use this when the settings screen has no list yet, or the app you need is missing from it. It requires Tizen Studio on your computer.
Download and install

In Tizen Studio Device Manager, right click on the entry with your TV and select
Installed Web App Listfrom the dropdown. If you can't seeInstalled Web App Listin the dropdown, make sure you installed the TV Extension from the first step!
